Vietnam and Thailand are large, already fairly developed economies where many foreign companies have established a foothold. Each of these countries are not only large markets but also a gateway to ASEAN which is the fastest growing economic community in the world. Myanmar is a new economy and also a member of ASEAN with huge resources and a population of more than 60 million people. Its government is eager to develop its economy and attract foreign investment.
