Netherlands Vietnam Chamber of Commerce

Yesterday, the board of the Netherlands Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and a number of its members (with Joost Vrancken Peeters as chairman) met with the Vietnamese Prime Minister in the Kurhaus, The Hague. They  spoke about stimulating mutual trade and investment. The prime minister indicated that there are many possibilities left untapped. International attention is the main reason for his visit. "Legal and technical advice is very important," said Prime Minister Phuc.

G20 summit

At this point in time, Vietnam is taking the stage. The fact that Prime Minister Phuc was invited to the G20 summit in Germany speaks for itself. Vietnam is increasingly discovered by Dutch entrepreneurs and mutual trade rises considerably. For a number of years, the country has shown a steady economic growth and with 94 million inhabitants there are certainly opportunities within the Dutch business community in Vietnam.

Premier Phuc indicated that many opportunities exist in the areas of water, climate, agriculture, food security, urban development, shipbuilding, energy and logistics. Exactly those sectors the Netherlands specialize in.
