Lejonique Versendaal works as an insolvency employee within the Company Law section. On 1 July 2006, she began her activities as secretary within the practice group Insolvency. It soon became apparent that she was looking for greater challenge in her work. That is why she enrolled in the Legal Assistant for the Legal Profession programme – which, in combination with her interest in figures and Excel, proved to be a good basis for the activities within the Insolvency practice group.

‘Following my training in the Legal Assistant for the Legal Profession programme, I have been increasingly focused on the support of trustees within debt-collection and preparations for the (financial) winding up of bankruptcies. The large degree of independence I am given to carry out my activities I find to be very pleasant. It completes the picture for me.’
‘In my free time, you can often find me at the korfball matches of my youngest daughter. I also try to find my way regularly to the fitness centre or to run laps. During the summer months, we love to go camping with the whole family – preferably in Spain.’
