Robbert Santifort has worked as a lawyer in the Intellectual Property/IT section since September 2014. After spending a student internship at Kneppelhout, he knew for certain: his future lay in the competitive world of the legal profession. His activities vary from copyright law, trademark law and industrial design law to the drafting and assessing of licensing agreements and service level agreements for both regionally and internationally oriented clients.
Robbert’s strength lies in taking away the client’s worries and thinking along the same practical lines with the client. He translates both problems and opportunities into concrete solutions. First he thinks something over, then he carries it out – quickly, in a structured manner and correctly. The interests of his client are always the top priority.
Robbert is a member of the De Jonge Balie Rotterdam. Before making his transition into the legal profession, he won his spurs over six years spent in a civil-law notary’s practice as a handler of cases involving succession rights and settlement procedures.
Robbert and Kneppelhout
‘My passion for Intellectual Property/IT law comes from my interest in technology, innovation and creativity. During my studies in Private Law, my focus quickly shifted to these legal fields.’
‘In my free time, I spend a lot of time at the fitness centre. I give it all I’ve got when I’m there and want to push beyond my limits. I am also not satisfied with anything less for my clients.’
