Resolving legal disputes in Malaysia through arbitration
Did you know that Kuala Lumpur is home to one of the world's most renowned arbitration institutes? MDBC members are invited for an exclusive and private tour of the state - of - the - art facilities of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA). This event takes place in conjunction with the visit to Malaysia of the Jurisdische Faculteitsvereniging Rotterdam (JFR), which stands for Law Faculty Association Rotterdam (the association for the students of the School of Law of the Erasmus University Rotterdam).
You will be welcomed at the KLRCA's premises. Rammit Kaur (Head of Legal Services, KLRCA), along with Marjolein van Herk - van Tilburg and Thayananthan Baskaran (both lawyers and listed arbitrators at the KLRCA) will introduce you to the essentials of Arbitration in Malaysia and more specifically, talk about KLRCA's flagship international dispute resolution procedures:
- KLRCA Arbitration Products (including Arbitration Rules, I-Arbitration Rules and Fast Track Arbitration Rules), and;
- Advantages and benefits of using KLRCA Rules
